WHERE DOES BERING COME FROM?
The company PLASTEX was born in 1951, specializing in equipping long-haul sailors.
This profession exposed individuals to the harshness of life on board, with challenging conditions that required reliable protective equipment.
After a few years, a motorcycle subsidiary was developed, leveraging the expertise in waterproof garments.
BERING ASSERTS ITSELF
In 1991, inspired by the famous strait of the same name and its extreme conditions, the name BERING was adopted to materialize the mission of the French brand dedicated to protecting two-wheeler users.
Combining quality requirements and a constant quest for innovation, the brand quickly found success and became an iconic brand, a leader in motorcycle protective gear.

ALWAYS AT THE TOP
Years of R&D, supported by technological expertise, have led BERING to become the world's first brand to design electronic airbag systems for road use, develop a revolutionary concept of PROTECT FLEX protection shells, and offer KING SIZE and QUEEN SIZE ranges (tailored to larger body sizes and generous proportions).
Since 2003, BERING has been the only French brand in the motorcycle industry to hold the GORE-TEX license for its clothing range.

ADS
With BERING's ADS ventilation system, the distribution of air intake and exhaust points allows for control and regulation of the ventilation in your jacket or blouson.
ADT
This tightening system allows the garment to be perfectly adapted to the individual's morphology in a single movement, thanks to the tightening points on the chest and biceps.
FITEX
Adjustment system for waist and/or biceps tightening, adjustable in height.
